The motherload, indeed! Quicken on WINE. Jeez. I opened a Word 2000 doc in Abiword a couple days ago. Nautilus actually had a file association, so it just required a double-click. Came right up. Time for the world to mail a billion cd's back to Redmond. Know what would be good? Is there a really good way to export Abiword/HTML/Gnumeric docs to PDF? It occurs to me that if the world used Acrobat to send pictures of docs instead of sending the binaries around, we could **READ** them on any OS we wanted. When you think about it, sending the editable copy of a company doc around to people who have to use the editor to read it is just silly.
