I agree... been using the proprietary nvidia drivers with my spiffy new Inspiron 8100 laptop (geforce 2 GO with 64 megs vid ram and 512 system ram) and it rocks! Go ahead Gnome, make your desktop as complex and bloated as you want - I can handle it!
