Red Hat 7.1 My problem was setting up the various partitions so the systems could use the hard drives comfortably. Earlier I had install problems, which turned out to be due to a combination of flaky processor and flaky memory. Hardware replacement fixed that.
When I get back to that box I will mess with parallel port and such. New printer is designed for two computers, so I may expand my bald spot getting that working. Now, let's see, will be looking for Linux driver for Xerox P8, probably P8e... Printer down is an Epson Stylus Color 800. I rather doubt it is worth trying to find a shop that repairs such equipment. Think the problem is mechanical, so that means parts, which may no longer be easy to find.
