If we have problems getting support for new Linux users in BRLUG, and in 
the past the Clickers SIG has failed for the same reason, I don't see how 
having two groups will help. That is what I mean by spreading the Linux 
user base a bit thin. I was being figurative, not literal. Anyway, I would 
like to reiterate once again that I have no issue with you or anyone 
helping the Clickers form a SIG. However, I do not feel it will help the 
general new Linux user issue you mentioned.

And yes, we do have a LUG participation problem.
