I noticed in the notes for the next meeting, that it says to bring your
computer to tweak it and stuff. Bear with me, because I've never been
to a real meeting. What all should I bring? Everything? Are there
spare monitors there? Or am I to bring everything, as if this was a big
LAN party?

Also, I have one pc which due to spacial limitations, can't make it to
the meeting. A Gateway destination system. This bad boy, running at a
blazing 266 mhz is giving me some problems. It seems gateway is
retarded and likes to put the craziest hardware possible in their
machines, requiring you get support from them. It has an STB 2
videorage video card, with a built in tv tuner, and an apocalypes 3dx
3d accelerator on the side. Not to mention that for some god awful
reason, all the cards that have anything remotely to do with multimedia
are hardwired together, and attached to some contraption allowing me to
hook up multiple a/v devices. So if I upgrade one component, I have to
upgrade em all.

Now on to the real question. Does anyone know of some good drivers for
the STB 2? I don't care about the 3d accelerator, I just want something
other than 8 bit color.

I have a spare voodoo 3 also, but due to constraints, can't remove the
original card from the system, and multiple cards makes the system
freeze when I try and configure xfree86.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
