Hi There,

I have an "opportunity" for someone in the BRLUG to help a
completely LOST "newbie."

When I configured the KPPP dialer with the 'phone number
and TCP/IP settings for Shreve.Net I knew I was right.

The USR 56k external dials out,  the 'phone at ShreveNet
*answers* and ^authinocates^.  But, before I can click on
Netscape to do ANYTHING, a box pops up and says that my
"daemon has died."

Since I cannot access the Internet to register my copy of Caldera
and I cannot get to the on-line help and man pages, I am asking
for help.
