I've been burning cds using Koncd, from KDE3, from isos and directories on
a network drive. No problem. I haven't used command-line cdrecord, but I
understand most of the common GUI frontends to be frontends to cdrecord
and makeisofs. Anyway, I've done it from Samba shares and NFS shares
without a hitch. The buffer underruns are handled in certain config
choices in the Koncd software. Sorry, but it's been a little while since
I looked at it directly.
