Blackbox is also my WM...but recently i've also tried
the BB variant Fluxbox. ( http://fluxbox.sf.net )

Blackbox was, for about an 18mo. stretch there, a "dead"
project w/o a maintainer. Fluxbox was forked off the 0.61.1
source tree. It's a tad bigger (mem footprint-wise) than
BB, but still far smaller than WM, AS, FVWM and way smaller
than scripting-language based wm's like sawfish.

Fluxbox adds support for proper icons, dock apps,
bbkeys integrated into the wm, seems to be a little more
themeable, allegedly better integration w/ gnome+kde.

Oh, and for those looking for (yet-another) alternative web
browser - Links, the ncurses console+xterm web browser that
renders tables and frames so well (better than Lynx and W3M
anyway) so well, has gone graphical:

http://atrey.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~clock/twibright/links/

Outputs to X, SVGAlib, and the linux framebuffer. Adds
support for Javascript. It comes with it's own fonts that
look pretty spiffy. Displays most GIFs (non-animated), PNG,
JPEG, TIFF, pixmaps.
