We wanted to be able to track the checksums, most recent versions, and what software had support in what areas. It is part of the verification scheme to try to help the librarians be sure that any CDs from a member were what they purported to be, and not copyrighted, pirated software (or unsuitable material). I drew a few datagrams and flowcharts for it and started looking into SQL. When I had something a bit concrete, I was going to bring it in for review. Of course then the wife decided that the kitchen needed striping and painting,just as I finally finshed drywalling my office. I have my office semi-complete, as in painted, but no floor or shelves yet, and the kitchen is still waiting for cabinet doors, so the SQL work is going slowly.
