Okay, here is something else that we should give to the libraries: documentation/license agreements for each CD we give them that state plainly their rights. This documentation will let them know that they or their patrons can legally copy and give away the software on the CDs, or images of the CDs for that matter, at will. So, for any distribution we are going to provide, we need a copy of the license that specifically says there are no restrictions on copying the software. Every distribution has this, we just need a copy of it.
I think we can ensure this happens by requiring that if you volunteer a distribution then you need to also include a hyperlink to or hard-copy of the license. Sound good?
