Adam,

Be sure the software you are including on the CD allows you to redistribute 
it, even if it is free.  For example, Eudora requires that you become an 
"affiliate" (at no charge) to distribute the sponsored mode of 
Eudora.  (See www.eudora.com/affiliate/).  At one time I contemplated 
giving away such a CD to some students.  On the off chance that some might 
object to being included in a general software collection, I first emailed 
each.  I was suprised at some of the answers I got.  Many wanted 
prospective users to visit their site and download it themselve.
