Along with my broadband connection at home came access to a wonderful plethora
of download-able files. Newsgroups! In Windows2K I have a program called
XNews which I used to browse the newsgroups. It was built pretty well
for downloading files. Another popular newsgroup reader is Agent.
Well one thing that holds me back on the home computer from going full
linux all the way (formatting the windows partitions) is the lack of a
solid linux newsgroup reader/downloader program. As far as reading text
post in a newsgroup Knode rules. But I can't find any good linux programs
that is comparable to Xnews or Agent. Do any of you linux guys download
stuff from newsgroups? If what what programs do you use?
Thanks for the input!
