[brlug-general] Laptop display

I just recently installed RedHat Linux 7.3 on my laptop, and the area
everything is displayed in is very small.  A normal text console takes
up 1/3 of the height of my screen and 1/2 of the width of the screen.
Does anyone know how to make it take up the entire screen?
