Dustin,
I took 2290 and 3102 with Mr Mike Dacus. I was particularly impressed by his
lectures because he had powerpoint slides of each one of them. Also a the
begining of the year he would the print out of the slides were available at
the bookstore which were great to take notes. Before he resigned from LSU I
asked him for those slides thinking that they might become usefull in the
future. This might just be the day. He used office 97 back then and I
remember using them with Star Office just fine. If you wish to see some you
are a welcome to used them. It might add some sentimental value that could
attract more attention.

Dustin-

I could probably show off my laptop running RedHat 8.0 (Kde yada yada), if
there is a need. I have done the "nice fonts" thing, so OpenOffice and all
look very good (I have a tediously long slideset that I can show off : ) ).
I have Evolution syncing with my Handspring Visor. I could probably even
demonstrate how easy it is to suck photos off of my wife's digital camera.

Let me know.

Regards,

John.
