heh, im also teaching like some introductory shelling. not really linux... but 
the shells will prolly run knoppix since i dont wanna have to reformat drives 
or anything, this is for the crt program its like for disabled people who CAN 
operate computers... even though there are some blind people, sigh, i'll keep
