Speaking of voting. I have an ARCH conservative friend (like a
brother to me) that has been a
died-in-the-wool-Bill-gates-is-my-hero-I-want-to-be-a-capitalist-like-him-when-I-grow-up-MCSE-fanatic
who came by yesterday for much BAR-B-Q and hard liquer yesterday. We
voted. We drank, he slept on the couch. He went home with REDHAT!
He came, he saw, he saw the light! Mr. Microsoft went home with
Redhat! Go Linux. Go Linux. Go Linux.

It was Debian he liked, but felt he wasn't yet worthy. He had heard
of Redhat, and had to have it. By the time he left he this morning
he was trying to pay me for it. (He still does not understand the
nature of the force.) I had to take him, his son Matthew, and
Kaleigh to Krispe Kreme to calm him down. Free! Open! You can just
have this stuff??! Don't they know what it's worth?! Coming to a
newbie meeting near you soon, a new convert!

You had to see the look on his face. Well, you know, I use Windows
because it can do... Damn, you can do that with with Linux?! It was
great. Like clubbing baby seals only easier.

Ya'll be good now, y'hear.
