I am thinking about setting up an apache mod_proxy to forward inbound http to my various servers behind the firewall: (http://www.scottharney.com/cgi-bin/blosxom.cgi/2003/02/21#apache_proxy) I suppose I could set up squid on another server internally but I don't perceive any need for it in my smallish environment.
I personally use djbdns (http://cr.yp.to/djbdns.html to handle internal and external DNS. Here's a doc on doing that: http://www.guinix.com/technote/dualdns.html (that's pretty much exactly how I'm doing it). I also use Bind 9 views at a customer site to achieve the same results. > I have dhcp running fine, and pf.conf is all set. > > Pretty much, it all seems to be working fine except for the dns.
