here are the nameservers i use, they are based out of canada, but they are updated all the time:

I've run BIND and a more appropriate caching server, dnsmasq, with good results behind my firewall. Do a google search for LSU and DNS and see if that does not solve your problem. If you have a spare machine load it up with dnsmasq and point it to LSU or wherever and point all your local machines at it.
