One thing that I can say about RH8 is that the guis for configuring=20
network connections, system settings, etc. ACTUALLY WORK the way they=20
are supposed to now.  I have even gotten lazy and stopped doing the=20
system configuration via vi.  The other day, a visiting sysadmin was=20
here from Caltech and was trying to add my network attached HP printer=20
to his RH8 laptop.  He did it by hand and it did not work.  He came and=20
asked me what he should do.  I told him use the damn gui!  That felt=20
nice to be able to tell someone that and actually have it work on a=20
linux system.  He used the gui and instantly a test page came out of the =

high end printer....

Moral is, I think we are getting close to ready for primetime folks!
