I use the Tax Cut software which does not do such nastiness as boot sector, activations, etc. I find it to be a much better program anyway. Yes, I also E-file and also the direct deposit.. Very convenient, and I get my refund much faster. Minus the fact that the gov. knows my account number now - Of course, I am sure they already did with such things that we do not even know about that are probably worse than Carnivore. And then there is always Total Information Awareness......

The IRS had a nice site with PDFs of forms and instructions, and it was easy enough to see what I needed from last year's taxes. It would have been easier had I started before tonight, but I got it done. Besides the obvious, start earlier fool, is there a better way? Did anyone do the e-file thingy? > > > _______________________________________________ > General mailing list > [email protected] > http://brlug.net/mailman/listinfo/general_brlug.net >
