I use the Tax Cut software which does not do such nastiness as boot sector,
activations, etc. I find it to be a much better program anyway. Yes, I
also E-file and also the direct deposit.. Very convenient, and I get my
refund much faster. Minus the fact that the gov. knows my account number
now - Of course, I am sure they already did with such things that we do
not even know about that are probably worse than Carnivore. And then there
is always Total Information Awareness......

follies, I did taxes by HAND this year. The IRS had a nice site with PDFs
of forms and instructions, and it was easy enough to see what I needed from
last year's taxes. It would have been easier had I started before tonight,
but I got it done. Besides the obvious, start earlier fool, is there a
better way? Did anyone do the e-file thingy?
