Great flick! Based on stories in a one of the first sci-fi/fantasy adult comic mags from way back in the day called "Heavy Metal". I haven't seen the sequel "Heavy Metal II" yet.
Back then, it wasn't considered anime but just an animated movie. In the same vein as Ralph Bashki's "Wizards". Anybody here see that one? I definitely recommend "Heavy Metal" if you are into sci-fi/fantasy, comics|graphic novels, or anime.
