everything to handle it, or queues the request for later when it is more
convienient (ie at next time slice).  tcpip is something that gets queued
(better performance?).  ksoftirqd_CPU# is the kernel thread for that CPU
that handles/manages the queued irq's.

what wlan driver are you running?  i also have problems transferring large
amounts of data (few hundred meg).  the machine is ok, but the wlan0
interface locks up.  a service restart (redhat) fixes it.  i haven't
updated wlan drives in almost a year, so i blame it on that.  haven't had
a chance to upgrade yet.  might be worth a shot...
