This is exactly why I always recommend finding a good local ISP. The big
companies think the Internet = WWW and Outhouse Express(TM). If you can
find an ISP that runs on unix, you'll rarely have a problem. I don't
know yet if I can get DSL at my new home but I'll scream if I have to
use cox (gee, isnt that just an appropriate name for a an ISP that
decides to block outgoing smtp) for high speed access.
