Good luck with DSL, it all belongs to the Bells now.  Once I had Telocity but 
lost it when I moved less than a mile away.  South Central Bell owns the 
"availability" list.  Two weeks after telling me that DSL was not available at 
my house and I'd cancelled my controact with Telocity, a Bell South rep called 
to offer my Bell South DSL.  I told him I'd have to think about it and called 
Telocity.  The published list Telocity read said that DSL was not available and 
it has not been availble for more than a year.  This article was no surprise to 
me:
