John, I'll give you a tip. I just made two for my wap11 and they work (not
as well as i thought, but could be builder error) but they work!

If you dig enough on his site, you find his perfected template. This is the
one I used
I printed the templates and covered the square part with aluminum foil.

Here are the parts list
1. the 2 templates
2. cardstock
3. aluminum foil
4. tape
5. knife with a point (to cut the slits in the square part)
6. scissors

Thats about it.

Here is a picture of someone elses attempt at the perfected design.

It's not hard to build at all.

Have fun!

New weekend project! I'm thinking that styrofoam packing blocks would be
easier to acquire than balsa wood. They could be shaped with a hot knife or
similar.

I've been having problems with getting a good signal in the backyard with my
Zaurus, but this may fix that. Thanks!

Don't ask why I need a good wireless connection in my backyard for my PDA. I
just do.

I know we have some hams out there who will laugh at this. (I was one of

them) The more I read about this, the more it looks like it does work.
I
just might have to try this out on my SMC at home and my WAP11s at work.

Here is a thread about the design
