I am planning on trying gentoo under vmware for lack of a good machine
to dedicate it to. Also, if I screw up, then it is a matter of deleting
four files and trying again. Vmware is great. They made lots of
improvements in the last version. Windows runs as fast under vmware as
it does natively (even faster on some things). I have wanted to try
gentoo for quite a while now, but just have not had a chance.

So, how dificult is it to do updates in gentoo? I have gotten to really
like the up2date stuff in redhat.
