802.11b, choose a name brand like Linksys, Lucent, DLink, etc. Make sure you
find out first if other Linux geeks have gotten the particular model to work
under Linux. I use a Lucent Orinoco Silver with Linux and it works great.
Has an external antenna jack as well.

When you say a PC, did you mean a laptop? Remember that you will need a
wireless access point.
