Hi,

I'll put off thinking of the wireless card until I get my dorm room. Anyway,
I have a lot of Dos games that I would like to run (on 5 1/2 in disk, so I
will probably be able to get a cheap drive from somewhere) and would like to
know if I can multiboot FreeDos and Linux on my Pentium 266 (the one I brought
to
installfest)? Will Linux set up a way that I can choose what to run on
startup?

Thanks,

Steven P.

Dont have to.. there are plenty of good dos emulators out there (at
least one of which uses freedos).

Lilo and grub both do this and most distros set up dual boot
automatically at install time, if another OS is detected. I don't have
an example with me, but you can find them on older Debian pages or a
lilo howto. In the laziest of all worlds, just stick a DOS boot disk
in.

You might want to image those old floppies before they die. My windoze
3.1 and dos 6.2 floppies are crapping out, but I dont' really care.
