Doug, et. al., The "child" they were refering to was 17 years old and his name and photo has already been printed. I read it two weeks ago but don't remember where.
Actually, the "child in question" took the Blaster worm and wrote a 'variant' of it. He got caught because, he didn't know how to "block" or "hide" his orignial DNS, LOL! He's a script kiddie. The original "Blaster", I believe came from the Near East and they have not yet tracked down the source of it yet. Now, I agree with what you've said. The BRLug is doing what it can to get Linux into Louisiana libraries. Why not also "add" schools to the project? Take the idea to the "BESSIE" board(Board of Elementay and Seconday Education -- BESE). Start the kids out as early as possible teaching them Linux. Hmmmmmm? Offering Linux as an "alternative" to the buggy, over-priced M$ will not only help lower schools budgets, but will help students as well. Teaching staff and teachers linux just might open some job opportunities for some of you. Just me 2?, "Cap'n Buck"
