Hi everyone:
I just saw the postings right after mine. Anyway, I went to the site to
satisfy my curiosity nad this is what I found:

How do I enable write support.
Because of the possible bugs in the write support it is not enabled by
default. You can enable it by going to the View menu and selecting
Options... Go to the Debug tab and check the box labelled Enable Write
Support. You will then have to quit the program and start it again for the
change to take effect. The next time you start the program you will be asked
for each partition found if you want to enable write support. The most
important thing to remember about this write support is that it WILL damage
your filesystem so you MUST BACKUP BEFORE USING WRITE SUPPORT!

This FAQ should also be noted:

Explore2fs used to work fine, and now it just says Access violation at address
xxxxxxxx
Did you use Partition Magic? There seems to be some kind of incompatibility
between partition magic partition tables and what explore2fs expects to find.
This might be my fault, or Partition Magic's fault. I might work out a
workaround, but until then, you will just have to put up with exceptions.
These exceptions could also be caused by any number of bugs in explore2fs.
Unless you are willing to help find and resolve the problem then there is no
point reporting them.

Take care,

Alvaro Zuniga
