An interesting thing about Moore's law. First, it is misquoted or extended beyond what it really stated. In the 60s Moore only said that his company could double the number of transistors on a given size die every 12 months, later relaxed to every 18 months. It says nothing about performance etc. Many people claim that it states that computing power will double every 18 months. That is not Moore's law..... -- Shannon Roddy LIGO - Caltech 225.686.3106 (work) 225.933.7821 (cell) [EMAIL PROTECTED]
