I'm a business than wants to sell things on the web.  Do I use:

1.  Some Linux or BSD / Apache.
2.  M$ W2K / IIS.

Would 1 be better if I spent a few weeks crafting my own super secret modules 
to replace the ones that have been tested and proved?
