Not in one mailbox, right? You should at least consider a short-fix fix
(e.g., Scott's Maildir archiver) until you find a solution you are really
happy with.

Actually, I have seen that this is becomming common (for good or bad). The
problem you have now will become increasingly an issue for everyone. Let us
