>From what I understand this is totally up to the motherboard. If yours does not have this option then *maybe* a bios upgrade would give it to you, probably not. I have heard of several new motherboards having the option of booting off of USB ports. This would be about the only way to boot off the USB pen drive. It's not a grub or lilo thing, it's at a lower level than that. Most computers have the boot of, 1.) floppy, 2.) cdrom, 3.)harddisk options. New motherboards would have a 4.) USB. and possibly other stuff. If you have SCSI installed SCSI would be a 5.) option. IMHO. BB
