I would never have gotten good and started with Linux without Redhat, and any young company is going to make mistakes.
I don't use Redhat because their support was moved off-shore, and it sucked. Also, I hated dependancy hell. A friend got me started with Debian, and there I stay. Still, it is stupid to hate a company. I doubt they care what my micro LAN runs. Abandoning the desktop was a dumb move. So was Ford's "They can have any color they want, so long as it's black."
