Subject: [brlug-general] costs for Cox cable Internet access?
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Howdy,

I'm considering VoIP and therefore comparing costs
between what I have now (Eatel DSL with phone service,
no long distance) and what I could have (Cox with
Internet) and then use either Cox's VoIP or Vonage or
even Free World Dialup for VoIP.

Question: What are the basic costs for Cox Internet
access? I assume I need basic cable and then their
Internet service, and that they will charge something
for installation. I can do the networking and in home
setup, so those charges can be saved, and I would use
just 1 IP and do NAT on my home network.

Thanks,
John Hebert
