D3 for Windoze has gone gold and will be available for
purchase on 8/3/04 (see countdown at
http://www.ua-corp.com). I've read that id is working
on a releasable demo now that D3 has gone gold, as
that was their first priority.

Concerning the release of the Linux binaries, all I
know about is the .plan update by Todd Hollenshead
below. Todd is one of the execs at id. I assume the
Linux binaries will be freely downloadable but will
require the D3 Windoze CD to play.
