Actually I have walked within blocks of that street.
If you click on map then zoom out one view you'll see the
jardin du luxenbourg. I stayed in the hotel du luxenbourg
on my honeymoon.

But the map I sent was of Springfield a virtual world 
created from the TV show of the Simpsons. 
That's why it's so impressive is because it was all 
created from the TV show. It's a virtual representation
of what the TV show town looks like.
When you click on each sections you can see details about
each block. Very well defined details. Pretty much these
guys have way too much time on their hands to create such
a detailed map.

BTW, I-55 used to have a camera with a 3D lense. They took
several pictures of downtown hammond and tried to create a map
like the one you sent. But I think it took a LOT of man hours
to setup so they never really finished the area. It's a great
idea. Hammond is small enough that a virtual map of the town
could easily be created to showcase what the town has to offer.
