I think Chomsky's got a very good explanation for the ongoing relationship between the public, the media and government. Much better than the Republicrat's perennially recycled explanations. The guy explains very clearly how to recognize propaganda. For those may not have heard of Noam Chomsky; the guy invented the science of linguistics at MIT, laying the groundwork for natural language computing, and was a pioneer in media analysis.
