POSITION VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
INFO TECH COMPUTER ANALYST / APPLICATION DEVELOPER
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Duties and Responsibilities: The Computer Analyst will
be responsible for: planning, designing, creating
and maintaining a broad variety of dynamic web sites,
single-user and client server database applications.
Working as part of a team to develop and implement an
organizational-wide, web-based Enterprise
Information System / ERP. Developing client-side
functionality in ASP.Net utilizing MS-SQL data
architecture. Providing database connectivity for
interactive web and network development. Reviewing
specifications and providing time estimates on the
development of projects and features.
Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in
Information Technology (ISDS), Computer Science,
Business Administration or closely related. 2+ years
of full-time, professional-level business experience
designing, developing, and delivering technical
solutions using Visual Basic.Net, C#, HTML, ASP.Net ,
MSSQL,
MS Access or similar development and database
technologies. Must have excellent oral and written
communication skills and organizational skills and
possess the ability to work effectively and
efficiently in a
collaborative team environment. Must be able to follow
through with multiple, ever-changing tasks. Must
possess a working knowledge of Windows 2000/2003
server, and MSIIS, MS-SQL Server environments.
Must be willing and able to deliver high quality
projects on time with a strong attention to detail and
accuracy.
Salary and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience. The LSU AgCenter
