Makes me damn proud to be a Cajun. And Eatel is pretty much doing the same thing here in Ascension Parish!
Maybe I am biased. Are there any downsides to communities running their own broadband networks? Will it be inevitable, since the costs are coming down so fast? I mean, imagine in a few years what wireless technologies will cost and the coverage/performance they will offer. It makes sense that the big telecomms are running scared, but we (the public) should not let them pursue legal solutions to their technological inertia.
