Aha, I should read before I ask questions like what's missing. Fernando looked into that a while back and found some problems with GNUcash, which looks like an excellent program. I use it for my own books and think it can be used by a small business. Fernando thought it had problems sharing books over a network for some reason, but I'm not sure why or what other problems there were or if any of them would be a show stopper for the average small business.
A very Linux shop I interviewed with last summer used Windows for billing, Peachtree I think. I'll bet you can run it under dosbox by now, but don't know about printing!
