Well, I gave up. I'm back to OE. I found that Thunderbird would take several 
seconds to open some folders. That's fine for the first few days, but after 
a while it gets old. OE may not be the best, but I can open a folder and see 
what is going on instantly.

Maybe Thunderbird 2.0. :)
