Ditto on what Ray said. 

Question to Mat: Is this the student chapter at ULL or
the actual ACM? I assume you mean the student chapter.

I was a member of the student chapter at U[L|S]L a few
years back and received most of the benefits Ray
described. I assume the actual ACM would have even
more benefits to a computer professional's career.
