Howdy,

I am finally organizing my pile of networking equipment (DSL and cable
modem, switch, router, cable amp, cable splitter, power strip) on a
12" X 39" strip of plywood that I've attached to the wall in my
equipment closet.

What is the recommended way to attach networking devices to this
plywood backing? Some devices, like my switch, has handy screw head
inserts that make it easy to attach it to the plywood backing, but
others, like my Motorola Surfboard cable modem, does not.

I recall seeing someone use some thin metal strap that could be bent
and nailed easily, but I couldn't locate any metal strap that thin at
the local hardware superstore..

I've also considered using glued strips of velcro, but that seems
kinda messy and not strong enough.

What have others done in this regard?

Thanks,
John
