I am looking for a Softphone only VoIP provider. I do not want to hassle with setting up asterisk right now, so this is my preferred route. I want a solution that I can run a Softclient on any of my machines - ie. Linux, Windows, Mac. I am aware of and have used Skype but I have heard nasty reports of spyware included with Skype.
Anyway, Vonage offers a Softclient but it is only in addition to the regular service, not a stand-alone. Anyone know of any providers worth looking into? At some point I would like to get one of these too... http://www.voipsupply.com/index.php?cPath=95_115 Thanks, Shannon
