[brlug-general] Inspiron 2200

Anyone have information on setting up a Dell Inspiron 2200?  I'm running Mepis 
and want power management to work.  ACPI looks like it works because wmacpi 
sees the battery, /proc/acpi has temperature and other files that are 
working.  The touch pad is flaky and this problem is made worse by a terrible 
keyboard layout.  I looked around but did not find much advice.  Has any of 
you tamed one of these things lately?
