I am using QTParted to shrink NTFS partitions on XP boxes so I can add an ext3 partition to hold a XP image. I am yet to get QTParted to work. I have tried it on Knoppix and the latest Ubuntu. It tells me there is a NTFS Cluster error ? On brand new HP Computers ? I tried it on 12 different computers over the last week. I have done all the standard Windows repair stuff (chkdsk /f & defrag). Any help is appreciated. Tim Hallin [Richards Jr, Edward C.] Tim, Download the System Rescue CD ( www.sysresccd.org) and run it from there. I used it to resize the NTFS partitions on the machines in the Cajun Clickers Computer Lab before we installed Linux on them and it worked flawlessly. I hope this helps, Ed This email, including any attached files, may contain confidential and privileged information.
