How is this QTParted program behaving with "hidden" partitions?

As far as I remember, Compaq and HP, both have a small "hidden" 
partition as a first partition. This partition is not necessarily 
recognized as any of the major partition formats. At least in older 
computers, I think it was used in conjunction with bios.
