Good Morning All, No, I'm not starting an M$ bashing thread. I'm simply telling what I just learned this week.
I have a friend in S'port who I worked with at the old Western Electric Telephone Mfg plant and now is some District head for M$, David Huckabee. David meets with "Mr. Bill" and has 'conference calls' regularly with M$ staffers. David tells me that M$ has a working version of Linux that they wish to launch. Isn't that a hoot? Imatation is the best sort of flattery, LOL! David also mentioned, that there are 'worms' out there for Linux and that even Apache servers have been attacked. If this is so, then no one is safe, not WIN, not Apple, not even our Linux. According to him, he has a hardware firewall, a couple of software firewalls, etc and he admits his server set-up at home is still vunerable. I've never know David to lie to me and I do know he does work for M$. So, could we all be vunerable now? I guess the only solution is to disconnect from on-line. :-(.
